Mauser C96

Weapon model of Mauser C96

The M712 Schnellfeuer, or as it is referred to in-game, the Mauser C96, is a machine pistol (automatic pistol) with a low to moderate base capacity (10 rounds), and low damage.

Trivia

  • The model of the Mauser C96 seen in-game, the M712 Schnellfeuer, was not even produced by any company until 1927 and 1928, and it took until 1932 for Mauser to officially produce the weapon. The era it is used in, 1914 during World War I, was far off from the time the pistol was even developed, so the fact that the gun fires fully-automatically is actually inaccurate. The Russians also didn't even use Mauser C96 pistols until after World War I, anyway.
  • The Mauser C96, along with the DNGr Pistol, is one of the only two sidearms in-game that fires automatically.
